Francine Brady

Francine Georgiana Brady, 78, of Ashburn, Va., passed away on April 25, 2022, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late James Thomas Brady who passed away in September 2021.

Born on July 14, 1943, in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Mario and Concetta Palermo. Francine graduated in 1962 from the High School of Fashion Industries and continued her education, graduating from Hunter College with her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966. She was a career artist and created many beautiful pieces throughout her life. She was a member of the Huntington Arts Council and enjoyed old movies and food.

She is survived by two children, Jim Brady and Linda Davidson; two grandchildren, Henry Davidson and Samuel Davidson; her brother Vincent Palermo; her daughter-in-law Joan Brady; her son-in-law Warren Davidson; and her sister-in-law Theresa Palermo.

There will be a receiving of friends on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6-8pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 5pm at the funeral home. Interment will be on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 10am at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 South Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701. We will meet inside the cemetery at the FSK stone chapel for procession to the gravesite.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rheumatology Research Foundation.
