Ida Fox

Mrs. Ida Marie Rothenhoefer Fox, 88, of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Fox, who predeceased her in February, 1996.
Born in Braddock Heights, Maryland on July 3, 1923, Mrs. Fox was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Nellie M. Rothenhoefer.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth M. W. Fox and wife Billie (deceased); a daughter Virginia M. Burner and husband John. Grandsons Ken Fox, Steve Fox and wife Chris; sister Betty Craver and husband Calvin, a special cousin Shirley Stine and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, she leaves behind two very devoted and special friends, Pat Staggs and Rev. Harry Cole.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Martin Rothenhoefer and Thomas Rothenhoefer and her sisters Katherine Klipp and Grace Grove.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 West 2 nd Street, Frederick on Thursday, August 18 at 1:30PM with the Reverend Harry C. Cole officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
