Jake was the definition of "one of a kind". He never met a stranger and his jovial personality and endearing smile won over the hearts of many. To say his passing is a tragedy would be an understatement. Jake was a bright shining light in an often too dark world...something we need more of, always.
To Jake's wife Karrie and son Silas, I offer my deepest condolences. I never knew him as a father, but he was the best uncle a child could have ever asked for to his niece and nephews so I know that fatherhood indeed came naturally to him. I am certain being a dad was his greatest joy and accomplishment of his life.
To Jeannette, Lee, Greg, Susie, Shannon, Megan, Ella, McCrae and Niko; Words cannot express my sympathies. This loss to your family is untimely and I was heartbroken to receive this news. Knowing Jake, he would have wanted to see smiles and laughter on the day his life was remembered and celebrated and I trust that there were more than enough stories of the amazing guy he was to go around.
To have known Jacob Cole Freeman was a blessing in my life. He was truly "one of a kind".

We are blessed to have your family as dear neighbors. Your little family has brought many smiles to our faces as you bike ride and visit in the neighborhood. Little Silas is pure joy and a wonderful reminder of his loving father. Jake was so friendly and kind. We are grateful for the chance to know him. Praying for God to comfort you and to give you strength in the days ahead. You are all loved.
