My heart aches for your/our loss. Jenn was a bubbly, bright light who touched and warmed everyone she came into contact with. She clearly adored her family and championed them at every opportunity.

Message from Jen’s Buddy, Matthew & the Family
November 7, 2019 5:49 PM

Dear Mrs. Jen,
I’m so sorry that you died and I am happy that you’re in heaven. I wish you could come back. You helped me at Oakdale Elementary with speech, science, math, reading, social studies, writing and stuff for over two years. You helped me add and subtract. You helped me multiply and divide.
Thank you for helping me tell jokes when I was a class comedian. I remember the time you tested out the barbque chip with a marshmallow. Hahahaha. It had to be mesquite and you actually liked it! I will miss you making the videos that you sent me. Good luck in heaven.
Watch over me in my MRI.
Love you,
Matthew

Hi Mrs Jen; it’s Liam. I miss you very much.

Hi Mrs Jen it’s Anna; I love you.

Jen,
There really are no words. You were a second mother to Matthew. I put him on the bus each day and knew that he was in better hands than even if he was home with me. You always ALWAYS ALWAYS went out of your way. You always showed kindness and did things not even asked of you for MATTHEW. He excelled more than he ever has in the years he was with you. Thank you for helping him reach and even exceed his potential. I will never forget your voice and the way it sounded when you would say “hi MATTHEW” with that Michigan accent!!! LOl.
Thank you for volunteering to do things like come into work way early every week, happily unpaid and with no expectation, so that Matthew could be in chorus. I will never forget how you were the one who realized how important singing was to him and just volunteered yourself like that before anyone could even give it a thought - because you knew it would bring him great joy.
Well, you brought everyone great joy and never expected a thing in return. I mean it when I write, you make me want to do better, do more and be more. Thank you for your gentle wisdom, positivity, kindness and love.
You leave an amazing legacy behind in your husband and children and all who knew you.
Brian and I were shocked but it makes sense - it’s always the good ones. Perhaps more than ever in the world - we need proven angels among us and above us. Such is you!
In eternal Gratitude and Love,
Tina Merryman
