Jessie Ann Maselka, 79, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD

Born on July 20, 1940, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Chester Golembiewski and Sophia (Kozocka) Golembiewski.

Jessie married her childhood sweetheart, the late Ronald Joseph Maselka of Silver Spring, MD.

Jessie was a high school graduate of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy in Buffalo, NY. She worked for Leisure World Corporation for 19 years before retiring and relocating from Silver Spring, Maryland to Frederick, Maryland. She spent the last few years of her life living at Country Meadows Retirement Community in Frederick, Maryland. She was an eternal optimist who always sought out the good in family and friends.  She lived a life focused on building a loving family, life-long friendships, and celebrating the special moments and accomplishments of her children.  She easily made friends wherever she went in life.  Known for her welcoming nature and kind and thoughtful ways, Jessie loved family gatherings, traveling, and days spent on the beach.

She was a loving mother to five children, Kevin Maselka and his wife, Deborah of Brookeville, MD, Mary Jane Robb of Frederick, MD, Christopher Maselka and wife Minna of Lakeway, TX and Catherine Maselka and husband, Troy of Monrovia, MD.; grandchildren, Taylor Liverman, Veronica Robb, Kailey Liverman, Chase Maselka, Kirsten Maselka, Keagan Suddith, Cade Suddith, Austin Maselka, Addison Maselka and Aubrey Maselka; brother, Gary Golembiewski of Elma, New York.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Liverman and brother, Dennis Golembiewski.

A celebration of Jessie's life  will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD.  Chaplain Tim Shatzer will officiate.  Interment will be private.
