June Wyand

June Caroline Wyand, 80, of Sharpsburg, passed from this life on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Sterling Care South Mountain in Boonsboro.

Born on June 30, 1939, in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Geneva L. Griffth. June was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Stanley Keyton and by her second husband, Benjamin Wyand.

She retired from London Fog. June attended Boonsboro Family Worship Center in Boonsboro and Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg.

She is survived by sisters and brother, Mary Crampton of Hagerstown, Anthony Griffith of Harrisonburg, VA and Cheryl Darlene Rice and husband, John, of Keedysville. She is also survived by daughter, Barbara; and two grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her son, David Keyton; and her siblings, Frances Forsythe, John Griffith, Thomas Griffith, James Griffith, Donald Griffith, George Griffith, Rosalie Stump, Lucy Kidwiler, Susan Blackford, Hazel Renner, Florience Kidwiler, Georgie May Griffith, Burwell Griffith, Martin L. Griffith, William P. Racey and Harry Mason.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020, at Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg.  Rev. Ernest E. Witmer will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
