Lisa Freeland

Lisa Ann Freeland, 54, loving wife, mother and grandmother of Frederick, MD passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Frederick Health Hospital. She was the loving wife of Robert Freeland for 34 years.

Born August 18, 1967 in Fairmont, WV, she was the daughter of David and Linda Arbogast of Fairmont.

Lisa was a wonderful cook and was devoted to her church. A longtime member of Frederick Baptist Church, she enjoyed singing in the choir and was very active with the Bus Ministry, an outreach program of the church. Lisa was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.

She worked for Visiting Angels and was a loving, selfless caregiver for many years. She also enjoyed working at the Dollar Tree where she made so many people smile.

Lisa was an avid WVU Mountaineer fan.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by four children, Robert Freeland, III and wife Mandee, Tyler Freeland  and wife Sara, Meghan Cline and husband Peter, and Joshua Freeland and wife Kristina; two grandchildren, Jacob and Wesley; and two siblings, Dina Douglas and Jodi Arbogast.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Frederick Baptist Church, 5305 Mt. Zion Road, Frederick, MD 21703.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 28 from Victory Baptist Church, 1875 Morgantown Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554, with visitation at the church from 12 to 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, Fairmont.
