Mary Elizabeth Fisher, 74, of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed away on November 13, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of Harold Robert Fisher Jr.
Born on February 7, 1946 in Takoma Park, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edgar James and Alice Madeline (Garrison) Carwithen. She graduated from Einstein High School in Kensington, Maryland. She was long time member of the Keedysville United Christian Fellowship. She was deeply involved with the Montgomery County and Washington County Humane Society. She loved caring for and taking in animals who needed love and affection. She was extremely devoted to her family.
In addition to her husband of nearly 40 years, she is survived by her children, Sandra L. Wiles, Kellie A. McDermott, Kathi A. Tritsch and Lisa M. Cenneno; her grandchildren, Molly, Chloe, Nathan, Erica, Paul, Ashley, Latisha, Diana and William; siblings, Doris Mapes and Robert Carwithen; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Alice Norwood, Edgar Carwithen and David Carwithen.
Due to current Covid-19 regulations, the funeral services will be private and invitation only by the family. Masks and social distancing are required.
