I taught with Paula for many years at Thurmont Elementary. She was an excellent and caring teacher and exhibited such kindness to her students.

Paula was always one of my favorite people. She and I had a lot in common. I haven't spoken to her since 2016 when I left Frederick to retire in Williamsburg. She was someone I just wanted to be around. She will be missed greatly. Michael, my thoughts are with you at this time.

Paula and I have been close friends since we began teaching together at New Market Elementary in the 70’s. She was a beautiful person with a kind spirit who met more than her share of health challenges during her adult years so courageously. Rest In Peace, my friend. You will be dearly missed!💕

I was greatly saddened to learn that Paula's long and courageous battle with cancer has ended. Paula was highly respected as a caring and excellent teacher who made positive difference in so many lives. Please know that many share in your sorrow during this very difficult time.
