Sharon L. Richards, 60, of Thurmont, MD, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday March 18, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones whom were at her bedside at The Kline Hospice House in Mt Airy, MD.
Sharon was born December 22, 1959 in Frederick, MD and was the daughter of the late Luther Beard and Mary(Stone) Beard.
She was a graduate of Thomas Johnson High School.
Sharon worked for Mercury Printing company in Rockville, MD for 26 years. Afterwards she was pleased to take care of her grandchildren during the day prior to them attending school and to be honest any additional time she could have them.
Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, Maw Maw and friend.
She was truly a beautiful, genuine soul, whom took the greatest pleasures in life doing whatever she could to help others. She enjoyed spending her spare time in the kitchen, many times that was cooking or baking for others. There was never a meal or desert that she fixed that wasn't just as delightful as she was. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her grandchildren, family and close friends. They brighten her world as she did for everyone else. She was the State Rep for the Retreads Motorcycle Club of Maryland. She enjoyed hosting many meetings and dinners for the club members and built close friendships with many whom she cherished deeply. She enjoyed attending rallies and going on any rides where she was surrounded by her husband Ron and close friends. Sharon is an irreplaceable soul to many. She greeted each person with a warm smile and open arms. To have had the pleasure of being in her presence, meant you had met one of the sweetest women on earth. She left this world much too soon but surely touched many souls while here and most definitely will never be forgotten.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald Richards; two sons, Robert Burras III and Douglas Burras and wife Kimberly; a sister, Penelope Misner; brother, Luther Beard Jr; grandchildren, Carley Burras, Aaron Burras, Cody Burras, Collin Burras and Ryleigh Burras.
