I am so sorry for your family's loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Teresa was such a sweetheart. She was a joy to work with at Mt. Airy Middle and had a true heart for the kids. She will be greatly missed.

Mr. Fyanes, Katie and David,
I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, and still in utter shock. I will never forget her quick wit-typically as she was reading a book she’d add her two cents in and it was always funny, crushing us in Rummikub and trivia, and being the type of person who just made you feel comfortable and nonjudgmental. I’ll be thinking of you all

Tom, Katy and David,
We are thinking and praying for you and send our deepest sympathies to all of you. Theresa was oh so smart, witty and quick. One time they all ( Aunt Lou and kids) were up at our house in PL and in the past would do picnics and be showing us things on our nature walks. Among them, were mosses and particularly, the small treelike moss with a bright red top called a "British soldier". One day Steve and I were out playing and came in the house and Aunt Mary (my mom) asked what we were doing. I said we were playing in the woods and I exclaimed, "I found some British Soldiers!" To which a voice came in from the other room from someone who was reading a book and asked, "What, and were they fighting the revolution" Were probably 8 to 10 years old, but really? That is Theresa wit! She will be missed but we will all meet again, God willing.

Dear Tom, Katie, David, and Cousin Steve,
Kay and I send our true and sincere condolences to you with the hope you can find comfort where ever you can to help you through this sorrowful time. When I received the sad news, I was truly stunned. I was frozen in place, while many wonderful thoughts of times past with my cousin Teresa swirled within me. I have vivid memories of the DiMarco and Doyle cousins meeting for frequent Sunday dinners. My memory of my dear cousin Teresa is that she was, gentle, sweet, and kind, and I think of her as a flower. We laughed and had fun and as she grew into her adult life, her success as a student, teacher, wife, and mother came as no surprise. It is such a sorrow that she was taken so soon. Teresa will live in our hearts always.

My deepest sympathy to the Fyanes family. I was a student of her GED Class at Germantown MC. He was the greatest teacher I ever had. He had a passion for the students that shined brightly and made you want to be the best student you could be. He was certainly a special person and I am a better person for having known her. May God bless and keep you in peace as you mourn your loss. Mr. Fyanes will always hold a special place in my heart.
