Joan and Family, My deepest condolences at the passing of your beloved Bill. He was a wonderful example of love, generosity and kindness. Don and I both cherished Bill and Joan and appreciated their friendship. I will always remember at social gatherings in the neighborhood Bill reaching for Joan’s hand to hold. My prayers are with you all. Joyce B

It was my privilege to become a neighbor of Bill and Joan's in Greenville eight years ago. He was such a devoted husband, father, grandfather and was also so special to all who were fortunate enough to meet and know him. He was a prince among men. We had identical automobiles (I saw his and fell in love with the white Sorento) - my only regret is that we never had a chance to have the road race we talked about. Rest easy, Bill -- you will be missed and cherished in so many hearts forever.

What a good man and great friend! Bill was so proud of his family. He enjoyed telling stories of their adventures and achievements. His loving Joan made him complete. He will be missed by so many of us.

Joan, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Bill loved his family so much and it was so evident when he looked at his youngest Grandchildren. He never let anything get in the way of a wrestling match! Bill was a great man and he leaves a great legacy for his family of the love he gave to them!!!

So Captain Bill not only left great memories for his friends and family, but to our Grandchildren as well while pursuing pirates on the bay. They yelled for Captain Bill to "press the button" on his boat to torpedo the pirate ship we were approaching before it got away.
For us, our favorite memory were the boat trips shared by Joan and Bill on the bay to restaurants for lunch.

My deepest sympathy especially to Joan, Jolene and "Billy". And of course to his extended family as well---particularly John, Joseph, David, Yulia, Alexandra and Andrew. I have known Bill and Joan for at least48 years and during all this time I felt like they were family to me. And family is all important to me and of course to Bill and Joan. A donation will be made to St Ignatius Catholic Church in Bill's name.

My name is Dolores Baldwin and I am part of the Mazanowski family. Our grandmother was Bill's father's sister. I remember Bill from the family reunions we had in New Castle years ago and the wonderful memories of those days. My deepest sympathy to Bill's family and friends. God Bless.

My grandmother was Anna Wanatosky Mazanowski, which would have been Bill's aunt. I used to visit with Bill and his family in Olney Maryland when I was attending the Catholic University Law School in Washington, DC. On behalf of the entire Mazanowski family, I offer our deepest sympathies.
