Zachary Sherman

Zachary William Sherman, age 28, of Frederick MD, passed suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack and went home to God Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was walking Starsky, who stayed by his side. Zach loved Starsky like he was his child.

Zachary was known to all as a sweetheart with a dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He loved spending time with family and friends and he was very much looking forward to the holidays. He enjoyed cooking and had a wonderful Barbacoa recipe. He was also an avid fan of the Washington football team and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Zachary is survived by his loving family who will miss him tremendously; father, Michael Sherman; and his mother, Correna Hill (Eric); and his brothers, Joshua Sherman and Jaylon Spearman; grandparents, William and Rebecca Winn of Dallas, Texas. Zachary is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Barbara Sherman, of Marion, Ohio. She welcomed him with open arms singing his name.

Zach will be sorely missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including his good friend and roommate Kevin Lee.

There will be a candlelight vigil, planned by Zachary's good friend, Ariel Dalrymple, from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening (Nov 24th) at 135 Willowdale Drive, Frederick, Maryland  21702.
