Our mother, Conchita Sarmiento Juan, passed away on January 7, 2022 at Sterling Care South Mountain, Boonsboro, Maryland. It was the same day her beloved husband of 60 years, Honorio (Johnny) Juan passed away in 2015.

Conchita Juan nee Conchita Sarmiento was born in Nueava Ecija, Philippines on September 12, 1936. Her parents were Emiliano Sarmiento and Sotera Aglosolo and later stepmother, Emilia Sarmiento. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Carlos Sarmiento- widow Adorcaccion (Dory) Sarmiento, Emilianao (Emeng) Sarmiento Jr. and stepsister Beverly Anna Sarmiento (Baby). Her surviving siblings are Paz Manahan and stepbrothers Fred Sarmiento- wife Elsa Sarmiento and Jaime Sarmiento.

Conchita was married to the love of her life (Johnny). She is survived by their 4 children, Iren J. Ellis, Keedysville, MD- partner John Everline, Eloisa DyBuncio, Marikina of the Philippines- husband Vincent DyBuncio, Kimberly Anne DyBuncio- fiancée Alfred Veric, Elijah DyBuncio, Anna Patrician Juan-Rockower-husband Nicholas Rockower, Andre Juan- fiancée Danielle Sullivan, Alyssa Phyllis Juan and Matthew Dylan Ellis. The great grandchildren are Sean Vinito Veric, Cora Gabriella Rockower and Sean Vinito Verica, Cora Gabrielle Rockower and Isaac Arthur Rockower.  

Conchita met Johnny at 18 years old in the Philippines. She was a singer at a radio station and Johnny was a bass player for the radio band.

Conchita and her husband were devout Roman Catholics. They were Loyal and devoted to their faith, family and each other.
